Take a Minister, a Fixer and 4 Artists, and you have a team ready to change the face of the worst neighbourhood in Canada. They set out to paint a mural on a 130 foot wall in Canada’s poorest postal code, in the heart of Vancouver’s downtown eastside (DTES). But it’s not a straightforward mission. Volcanic eruptions, hail, rain, anti-religion debates, and missing artists all threaten to derail the project. Paint Your Faith follows the dedicated group, from the first spray stroke on the wall, to the building of community gardens in DTES and the revitalization of a street mission.
