Almost Real: Connecting in a Wired World – produced with the National Film Board of Canada this documentary delves into the lives of 6 people around the world who are addicted to, or highly dependent on the Internet. The film explores Internet-enabled intimacy and community. Features interviews with William Gibson, Pico Iyer and Jaron Lanier.
Produced by talents from the MTV and Spiderman animation teams, this short blends several techniques into a unique style. It’s a kickass cartoon about a Cow who narrowly misses the chopping block at Clown’s meat processing plant. Featured in festivals including a world premiere at the Montreal International Film Festival 2007 and the Planet in Focus Film Festival.
